Suzuki has set new standards for four-stroke engines

Seven years after Suzuki started the revolution in four-stroke outboard motors with the award-winning DF90 and DF115 models, Suzuki is redefining this category with the new DF90A model. As the first of Suzuki's new four-stroke generation, they are flagship models in terms of progress and performance. Just think of the electronically controlled sequential multi-point fuel injection system, the powerful 2.59:1 gear reduction ratio, and the maintenance-free, self-adjusting timing chain, which Suzuki first used in the DF40/DF50 back in 1999. These outboard motors also feature Suzuki's proven offset drive shaft technology, which, in combination with the newly developed engine block, makes the DF90 a powerful four-stroke outboard motor. This compact, lightweight design makes this outboard motor the ideal drive concept for a wide range of boat types.

The motor cowlings feature a new design on the sides, and the Suzuki "S" logo on the front gives these outboard motors a sleek look.
