Ergonomics and ease of use are key features of the DF9.9B. It has a sleek, clean design with no awkward protrusions that could snag on lines or clothing.
The tiller and gearshift are centrally located, with the emergency stop button integrated into the handle itself. The LED display for monitoring the engine is located on the front panel. A decompression device facilitates manual starting.
Engine vibrations are minimized through the use of large engine mount blocks. Other features, such as electronic engine speed limitation and delayed ignition timing for smoother engine running when reducing engine speed too quickly, are standard.
