The DF60A Lean Burn engine, which has been on sale since 2010, is extremely economical and packed with innovative technical details that make it powerful and exciting.
With this generation of engines, Suzuki has brought together many of the improvements that have pioneered both four-stroke outboard engine design and development over the last decade, combining them in the completely redesigned DF60A.
Suzuki engineers designed the DF60A Lean Burn engine to be the lightest and most compact engine available. More importantly, it delivers outstanding fuel economy without compromising on performance. The DF60A Lean Burn engine also features a slim design, making it the most compact and lightweight engine in the 60 hp class.
The heart of the outboard motor is a completely newly developed DOHC three-cylinder engine with four valves per cylinder. The combination of this high-performance engine with Suzuki's lean-burn control promises exciting performance capacity with economical operation.
