The Suzuki DF250AP was the world's first V6 four-stroke engine with 250 hp and has already won the prestigious NMMA (National Marine Manufacturers Association) award for innovation.
Among other things, it features a 55º V6 configuration, which gives it a sleek, compact appearance, a 24-valve engine block with two overhead camshafts, an electronic fuel injection system, and a tuned multi-stage intake manifold that enables increased engine performance.Suzuki's exclusive variable valve timing constantly adjusts the intake air at low and medium speeds. This results in improved fuel efficiency and lower emissions. An offset drive shaft with a large 2.08:1 gear reduction ratio drives a 16-inch propeller, providing faster acceleration and higher top speed.
