The new lightweight and compact Suzuki DF140A engine delivers tremendous performance despite weighing only 179 kg. Features such as a two-stage cam drive and an offset drive shaft make the DF140A the most compact four-stroke engine ever. This makes it the ideal drive type for a wide range of boats and applications.
Like Suzuki's other EFI four-stroke engines, an ECM (Engine Control Module) and Suzuki's digital sequential multi-point fuel injection system significantly reduce exhaust emissions, enabling the engines to exceed even CARB 2008 regulations while offering lower fuel consumption, smoother starts, cleaner acceleration, consistent power, and maximum efficiency.
